A photographer of international fame, Mario Colonel has become a partner of Aurora, the American pictures agency. He previously belonged to Pêcheurs d'Images, along with Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Philip Plisson. An inveterate mountain fiend and a remarkable climber, Mario Colonel lives in the French Alps. He travels all around the world but his work concentrates on the Mont-Blanc and the Himalaya ranges. Charmed by the Cevennes, he widened his scope to include this region, which neatly matches the spirit of his photographs - reflecting nature.
